Have you ever noticed that Hay Lin has some peculiar phrases like "Cosmic" and "Spacious" used to express overexcitement? In one of the latest issues Irma even mocks her for it, saying something like: "Spacious? I didn't expect anything else from Hay Hey".

I've always thought of Hay Lin as being one of those people who's mental processes are hard to grasp or follow.

To use an analogy, most people would walk from Point A to B in a straight line.

Hay Lin would zig zag, go around the block 3 times, walk along the wall and then do the last leg walking upside down on the ceiling before finally appearing at the destination from a hidden trapdoor.
